The Heritage Golf Club is an excellent 18-hole golf course, designed by South African golf architect, Peter Matkovich and covers an area of 100 hectares.

Attached to the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort, the magnificent 18 hole Heritage Golf Club, situated in the heart of the unspoiled south of Mauritius. The course has scenery typical of Mauritius with its volcanic mountain backdrop and some breathtaking views out to sea.

The course landscape is interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course (Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied.

Le Heritage Golf Club has the right balance and variation in length of holes, width of fairways, green sizes and ultimately the risk and reward element that is crucial on any Championship layout.

The golf course features mostly wide, undulating fairways, and large greens protected in many cases by water, strategically placed bunkers, and thick African elephant grass. A number of holes feature tricky elevations and blind greens. The courses two rivers, ‘Citronniers’ and ‘St Martin’, which cross the fairways at unexpected places.

This course is designed to challenge advanced players, but, with five tee positions for each hole, and generous fairways, also a beginner golfer will find it enjoyable and will crave more than just one round.

Golf Tuition – Both group and individual tuition are offered by a PGA Golf Professional. Lessons can take the form of video analysis, private tuition or playing lessons.

For beginners or golfers a 9 hole par 3 course ranging in distance from 60 meters to 165 meters is available for having a short game.
